Global Supply Chain Director, USAID Global Health and Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) Project Alan Pringle
Alan Pringle is a procurement, supply chain management, and logistics expert with more than 30 years of experience working with USAID, World Bank, European Union, FCDO, and other bilateral donors. Alan currently serves as the global supply chain director for the USAID Global Health and Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project, where he is responsible for the planning, sourcing, and delivery of HIV, malaria, and reproductive health commodities valued at over $600 million per year. Prior to joining Chemonics, he worked on the USAID Supply Chain Management System (SCMS) project as global program manager, providing strategic, technical, and management leadership. He has also served as the country program manager for Guyana, Nigeria, and South Africa, providing hands on supply chain leadership to field offices, for the SCMS Project. Alan is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPs) and holds a M.B.A. on strategy and procurement management from the University of Birmingham.
