Chemonics seeks a systems developer and implementer to provide technical assistance to the GHSC-PSM project in El Salvador. The project has been requested by USAID to support logistics for vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) in some countries in Central America, including El Salvador. The Systems Developer and Implementer will support the development of integrated logistics information systems for the Ministry of Health of El Salvador and contribute to the improvement of the general management of the supply chain for COVID-19 vaccines and essential health products. This position will be based in El Salvador. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and create the objects of the database according to the requirements established in the processes and flows of the supply chain, implementation with the PostgreSql database
- Develop and implement the windows defined in accordance with the requirements established in the analysis of the requirements in the supply chain, based on the indicated development tools (Node.js and Vue.js)
- Develop and implement all the database processes necessary for the integration of the screens with the database of the improvement in the supply chain system
- Develop and implement the reports established in the requirements of the processes and flows of the supply chain
- Develop and implement screens and reports for web devices, including handheld devices
- Have quality acceptance of each functionality that is being implemented to be put into production
Qualifications:
- Graduate or Engineer in the field of computer science
- Development tools and database administration certifications
- More than 2 years of experience in IT solutions development (verifiable)
- More than 2 years of experience in developing solutions using PostgreSql as a database
- More than 2 years of experience in implementing integration solutions using SOAP and REST technologies
- More than 2 years of experience in developing solutions using Node.js and Vue.js as a development tool (desirable)
- Experience in the implementation of dashboards is a plus
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
- Experience in Web environments
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
