UNLEASH Plus Awardees .

The UNLEASH Plus program is a six-month pre-accelerator for young social entrepreneurs, helping them incubate, refine, and promote disruptive ideas that address the Sustainable Development Goals.

Chemonics has recognized the following UNLEASH Plus teams with special awards at the culmination of the UNLEASH Plus six-month accelerator program. The teams were competitively selected by Chemonics’ leadership for their innovative solutions to sustainability challenges that align with our work. Through a combination of funding and in-kind consulting services, Chemonics provides these teams with year-round support to ensure they receive the methodologies, resources, and connections needed to scale their innovations.

These awards represent our continued commitment, as UNLEASH’s Lead Scale Partner, to this exciting platform for young people whose bold ideas and fresh perspectives are effecting positive change within their communities and beyond.

Inqui-Lab Foundation

Inqui-Lab Foundation believes that to build a new world that is socially inclusive, economically vibrant, and environmentally sustainable, it needs to nurture future leaders, change-makers, innovators, and entrepreneurs who can transform their surroundings and communities. Through Inqui-Lab’s two-year Think & Make program, students aged 12 to 15 learn to apply design thinking methodology and develop skills to innovatively and sustainably solve real world problems that they care about. NovFeed
UNLEASH Plus • 2019
NovFeed scientifically formulates and produces a new, cost-effective fish feed based on indigenous, locally produced, and sustainable ingredients. The team aims to increase competition for fish feed, thereby reducing cost and increasing accessibility with the ultimate goal of making fish more affordable as a healthy food source. Permalution
UNLEASH Plus • 2019
Permalution strives to introduce fog water harvesting as a new source of water for agricultural uses, ecosystem recovery, wildfire mitigation, and domestic and industrial use. The team has developed an approach to fog capture that has proven cheaper, more efficient, and safer than harvesting rainwater or groundwater.
