Fernando Calado Bryce
Fernando Calado is a migration and human rights expert with 20 years of experience managing complex donor-funded programs and over 15 years of implementation in Colombia.
A three-time chief of party for USAID-funded programs, he most recently served as the IDIQ manager for the $160 million USAID/Colombia Venezuela Response and Integration Activity (VRI) and chief of party for VRI’s Migration Management Activity. Previously, he led the Human Rights Activity and Human Rights Program III. Fernando also served as director of programs for the International Organization for Migration in Bogotá, where he oversaw a large portfolio of multimillion-dollar projects to support human rights for migrants and other vulnerable populations.
Fernando holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a B.S. in psychology from the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala.
